Collier Bartow had cultivated marijuana for forty years before considering that he was too old for this gig. In the past he enjoyed ghost stalking his days away in his woods, but now it is physically impossible.
Psychologically he had to have the depression fighting herb. He kept pot on hand off and on for four decades to self-medicate his depression and it was not cheap. When Collier was a young teenager he tried pot and such a weight was lifted from his shoulders that he kept a constant stash ever since. Collier reluctantly takes on the challenge to grow a years supply of marijuana on someone else’s land. Ironically, if the big land owners had legalized medical marijuana this would not occur. For Collier the pot cost too much to buy and if he would have some growing his own was the only option.
